I've been coming here for years, but really like the changes that were made recently. More specifically, it feels more welcoming to sit and enjoy something to eat or drink, and much less cluttered than before. It's always been excellent with coffee drinks and service (and still is), but the new vibe makes it stand out for coffeeshops in the area, and I think this will now be my go-to spot. (Ps. Thank you also for putting out water for self-service!)

We had heard good things about the hot chocolate so we decided to stop by. We had been told that hot chocolate flights were offered, but we didn't see any sign of that here. It's possible we could have missed it. We each ordered a hot chocolate, they do have several to choose from. The drinks were hot and rich. I think if you're looking for something a little different this isn't a bad choice. The chocolate treats are pricy. The "gourmet smore" was prepackaged and $5. The marshmallow was the best part of the treat, very fresh and a wonderful texture. The dark chocolate turtle was good, but not overly impressive.

I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place. It used to be a regular spot for me when I frequented the area. Anywho, my daughter was there and asked if I wanted something. Ummmmmm yeah!!!! Duh!!!! Lol! I requested a haul but they only had two of my items left: chocolate chip cookies and banana bread. I had forgotten how good they were and now I fear I am in trouble as I am wanting more already. If you haven't checked them out, please do.

Overall, the café provided a welcoming and a well-lit vibe. The pistachio iced latte was enjoyable and had the right amount of sweetness.

It's been years since I was in Chicago and stopped here. I was thrilled it is still going! Good drinking chocolate is a special thing and theirs is excellent. Of course all the other drinks, food, and chocolates and chocolate bars are, as well. They had these adorable breakable chocolate dreidels with Hanukkah chocolate shapes inside them this year. So cute! Service is friendly and informative and helpful. I got some drinks to take back to others and they have carriers for that! This time, I had the Mayan Magic and it was the perfect amount of spices. Lovely space to sit and sip.

I honestly haven't seen much online/on social media about this place so it's a hidden gem in my eyes. I'm glad I found it on Yelp. It's truly a chocolate lover's dream. They are known for hot chocolate and have many varieties. I tried the seasonal pumpkin and classic dark chocolate, and both were like warm hugs. The drinks were rich, decadent, piping hot, and irresistible. They also have a variety of candies, cakes, coffee/tea drinks, and other baked goodies. We got a slice of German chocolate cake and it was fresh, not too sweet, and had a good amount of coconut. The service was outstanding--very kind and helpful staff despite the busy Sunday afternoon! They have limited seating so just be weary of that.

Loved the variety of artisan chocolate bars and appreciated the owner helping us chose between them! The drinking chocolate was so rich and delicious as well!

Yum, yum, and yum!! Get it all. Sipping chocolate was delicious! Chocolate variety - so many good ones. Get the whisky truffle!!! No really- get it!!
